So, if you have ever been asked by an excited child if he can have a ‘Minecraft’ party, normally you would need to answer with ‘No, sorry, they don’t do a party range’. Well, with a little bit of true Blue Peter style, you can make one yourself, or even ask us to do it for you.
Here’s what you need, all of which can be found in our Minecraft Party section on the main website:
- Plain green tablecover, plain green or black paper plates, plain green cups, green or black napkins
- Lime green balloons, Black balloons
- Plain green paper party bags
- Creeper template (click here for template)
Step one – The Party Bags
Simply print out the template of the Creeper, cut it out and stick to the plain green party bags. It’s as easy as that!
Tip: If you use adhesive paper then you don’t even need glue (that’s what we do!)
Step two – The Table
Place the green tablecover over your table (as it has a protective plastic backing you can be sure your table won’t get damaged). I tried and tested this myself for my son’s 6th birthday party!
Set out the green plates, green cups and contrasting black napkins and roll out the food and drink for all to share! The napkins can be used to wrap the cake to put in the party bags at the end too.
Step three – The balloons
Your party guests will no doubt enjoy a bit of decoration in the background and will look forward to taking home a balloon at the end of the party. Blow up even amounts of green and black plain balloons (depending upon how many party guests you have) and tie with ribbon. Alternatively, if you are feeing very artistic you could try and draw Creepers on the green balloons!
Hey presto, a Minecraft party is born!
