Fun and Fruity Party Food
Ever wondered how to make ‘healthy’ and nourishing food for a children’s party? Fruit kebabs is one way and they look amazing. See below for ideas but really you can use any fruit.
A small tub of Strawberries
3-4 Kiwi fruits cut into chunks
2 Bananas cut into big chunks
1 Apple cut into even sized chunks
How to prepare:
Simply thread the fruit onto the skewers and display on a platter or large plate (see our great Toot Sweet platters)
Extra advice – It is recommend to make these an hour or so before the party otherwise the bananas start to discolour. Alternatively you can prepare the rest of the fruit the night before and add the banana at the last minute.
Common Sense advise! – These are not recommended for under 3’s as the skewers can end up in peoples eyes! Not good!
